Rest In Peace, Sonia

Sonia,

I never had the privilege of knowing you, but was fortunate enough to hear your brother Richard McCann speak last year - truly inspirational.

You and your family have endured far more heartache and tragedy than is fair and I pray that you are now at peace and reunited together with your mum and other loved ones.

So sad

I too watched the documentary last weekend. It was so sad. What a nasty thing to happen when you are children. It's nasty whatever age you are.

I don't know what else to say. Words seem so inadequate. So sorry for your loss, especially to Leanne. I can't imagine losing your mum like this.

Watch over your lovely family with your mum Sonia. I feel like crying about what that waste of space did. Leaving children to suffer like that.

To Richard

Richard , I have just watched you and Sonia and was so moved by your story . Throughout the programme I really hoped that at the end you had both found what you were looking for and that it would help you move forward. I was so touched when Sonia talked about the phone call from one of the other children and when she talked about taking control. So when I saw the message at the end I was shocked. I am so pleased that I can leave this message for you and I hope this brings you some comfort. My heart went out to both of you when you told your story and how difficult your lives have been. What really shone through the programme was your love for each other and that is something no one can take away .I hope Sonia is at peace and that you continue to build a life and find happiness, which is something you really deserve.
